These Terms govern your use of mp-update.com (the "Site")
and the services offered by Steven Cruz (Mirror Path · MP Update)
("Mirror Path," "MP Update," "we," "us"). By using the Site or purchasing a
service, you agree to these Terms.
Using the Site
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to misuse it, disrupt it, or
attempt to access it in unauthorized ways. Content on the Site is for
general information unless stated otherwise.
One-on-one work & bookings
- The Work With Me page is an application. Submitting it does not guarantee acceptance — it starts a conversation.
- If we proceed, sessions are scheduled through our booking tool. You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide.
- Coaching and mentorship are for personal and professional development. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
Podcast submissions & content
If you apply to be a guest and confirm consent, you grant us permission to
record, edit, publish, clip, and distribute the episode and related
materials across Mirror Path channels. You confirm you have the rights to
any materials (photos, logos, links) you submit.
Payments
Paid services are processed via Stripe and/or
Wise. Prices and what's included are described at the
time of purchase. Refunds and cancellations are covered in our
Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Mirror Path SoulSites (websites & apps)
SoulSites are custom websites (Lite, Full) and custom apps (Pro), plus optional
add-ons, built to order. Each build starts from an intake you submit
and is confirmed by us before work begins.
- Fees. A one-time build fee plus a recurring monthly subscription
(hosting, maintenance, and included edits), billed via Stripe. Founding prices, where
offered, are one-time discounts applied at checkout while available.
- Scope & revisions. Your build covers the pages, features, and
modules agreed at intake. Your monthly includes one round of minor edits
(text, photos, links) per month; additional revision rounds in the same month are
$50 each. New pages, features, or modules beyond the agreed scope are
quoted separately.
- Delivery. SoulSites are typically delivered 24–72 hours after
your intake is approved; Pro apps typically within 2–3 weeks. Timelines depend on
you providing content, assets, and access promptly.
- Your materials. You confirm you have the rights to all content,
logos, images, and links you provide, and you are responsible for the lawful use of
your site or app and for any data your own users submit to it.
- Ownership. You own your brand, your content, and the customized
front-end of your site once the build fee is paid in full. The underlying framework,
templates, reusable modules, and Mirror Path tools (including Soul Stats and the
SoulSites engine) remain our property and are licensed to you for use with an active
subscription, not sold.
- Hosting & renewal. Your site/app is hosted as part of your
subscription, which renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel
anytime; cancellation stops future billing at the end of the current paid period.
- Founding rates & price changes. Founding rates are
grandfathered — your discounted build fee and monthly are locked in for as long
as your subscription stays active and in good standing. Regular (non-founding) fees may be
adjusted from time to time with at least 30 days' notice. In particular,
some features rely on third-party AI providers, and if the underlying cost of AI /
language-model usage (tokens), hosting, payment processing, or other third-party services
we depend on increases materially, we may adjust the affected monthly fees or the
usage limits of AI-powered features accordingly, with the same notice. If you don't accept
a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect; continued use after the effective
date is acceptance. AI-powered features that run on your own API key (such
as the Bot-ler) are billed to you by that provider directly and are not affected by this.
Cancellation, data & reactivation
- Offline. On cancellation or non-payment, your site or app may be
taken offline (unpublished).
- Data export (30 days). For 30 days after
cancellation or a lapsed payment, you may request a full export of your content and
your app's data, and/or reactivate.
- Deletion. After the 30-day window, your build and data are
permanently deleted unless you have opted into Archive.
- Archive (optional). For $20/month, we keep your
build and data preserved and restorable while offline for up to 6 months.
After 6 months of Archive, or if Archive lapses, the build and data are permanently
deleted.
- Reactivation. Bringing a cancelled or archived build back online
costs a reactivation fee of 20% of that tier's current build price
(our prices in effect at reactivation, not the price you originally
paid), plus resuming the monthly subscription. Founding or promotional pricing does
not carry over to reactivations.
No guaranteed outcomes
Mirror Path is a system and a set of tools. Your results depend on your
own effort and circumstances. We make no promises of specific outcomes,
income, or transformation.
Intellectual property
The Site, the Mirror Path name and logo, and our original content are
owned by us or our licensors. Don't copy, resell, or redistribute them
without permission. Your own submissions remain yours, subject to the
permissions you grant above.
Third-party links & tools
The Site links to and embeds third-party services (YouTube, Google, Skool,
Stripe, Wise, and others). We're not responsible for their content or
practices; their terms apply to your use of them.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Site and services are provided "as is," without warranties of any
kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for
indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or
services.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
