Refund & Cancellation Policy

A plain-language summary of how refunds, cancellation, and your data work for SoulSites. It is not legal advice; have it reviewed before you rely on it.

This policy covers Mirror Path SoulSites (Lite, Full, Pro) and add-ons purchased through mp-update.com and paid via Stripe. It works alongside our Terms of Service. (One-on-one sessions and bookings are handled case by case — email us.)

Build fee

  • Before the build starts: 95% refundable. If you cancel after paying but before we begin, you get 95% back. We keep 5% to cover the payment-processing fee (which Stripe does not return) and manually stopping the build before it auto-starts.
  • After the build starts: 50% refundable, up to 14 days. Once we have begun, you can cancel for half of the one-time build fee back, within 14 days of the build starting and before you approve final delivery. We keep the other half for the work and time already committed.
  • Once delivered and approved, or after 14 days, the build fee is non-refundable. These are custom builds made to order, and at that point your site is live and yours.

Monthly subscription

  • Cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current paid month.
  • The current month is non-refundable, and partial months are not prorated.
  • Add-ons (SoulStyleTV, Qualifier Bot, Archive) follow the same rule.

Your site & your data after cancellation

  • Offline. On cancellation or a lapsed payment, your site or app may be taken offline.
  • Export within 30 days. For 30 days you can request a full export of your content and your app's data, or reactivate — just email us.
  • Deletion. After 30 days, your build and data are permanently deleted unless you have opted into Archive.
  • Archive — $20/month. Keeps your build and data preserved and restorable while offline for up to 6 months. After 6 months (or if Archive lapses), everything is permanently deleted.
  • Reactivation. Bringing a cancelled or archived build back online costs 20% of that tier's current build price (our prices in effect at reactivation, not what you originally paid), plus resuming the monthly.

How to request a refund or export

Email steven-c@mp-update.com with your name and site. Approved refunds return to your original payment method via Stripe; timing depends on Stripe.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
