Nathaniel does this work because he believes every person carries an important, unique soul purpose that is waiting to be expressed. When his daughter Luchina was born in a natural home birth on Vancouver Island, he experienced the most palpable sense of pure miracle and realized he had long been a blocked creative who never learned to monetize his gifts. That moment ignited a fierce commitment, not only for his daughter, but for all of humanity's children, to co-create a world where everyone thrives, no one is homeless, and each person steps into the perfection already living within them.
Nathaniel grew up in a home where emotional expression, whether anger or sadness, was suppressed, leaving him with deep-seated patterns of overgiving and creative blockage. During the pandemic shutdowns and mandates, he lost his work as a college professor and director of an indigenous student center. A saturated season of personal upheaval followed, and when normalcy returned his heart was no longer aligned with institutional educational models. For over a decade he studied the Christ Letters and spiritual principles yet still found himself doing things the very hard way, unable to consistently receive as generously as he gave.
The birth of his daughter on Vancouver Island was the pivotal shift. Witnessing new life arrive in a setting so different from what mainstream culture portrays cracked open a new awareness that every human is born of pure love and light. That realization, layered onto an earlier mystical encounter in which a being of pure brotherly light appeared to him on a forest path near his parents' home, confirmed for Nathaniel that his scientific identity alone could not carry him forward. These experiences together reoriented him from institutional service toward co-creating conscious community as his true calling.
Nathaniel envisions a world where every person has access to the abundance evident in nature, where homelessness no longer exists, and where physical conscious community centers serve as gathering places for co-creative, soul-led living. He and his partner Julia hold a world mission to build conscious bridges between community builders across the globe and to manifest tangible spaces where people can truly belong together. He sees Lightheart Vision growing organically in a cellular way, with pods of soulful creators synergizing their purposes so the collective impact far exceeds what any individual could create alone.
